Adult Inpatient Program
Adult Inpatient Hospitalization (Ages 18+)
The Adult Inpatient Hospitalization Program provides acute stabilization for individuals with psychiatric and substance abuse needs. It was developed to address the needs of individuals whose symptoms require the intensity and support of a 24-hour program.
If necessary, acute drug and alcohol detoxification can be provided in this program. This is accomplished through our around-the-clock intensive psychiatric medical and nursing care, and continuous observation. This is to insure the safety of the individual as well as others.
An important part of the treatment, if it is clinically appropriate, is participation by the spouse, family, and/or social support network. Treatment also includes coordination with our outpatient programs, or appropriate community resources, such as an outside therapist or agency, to insure continued treatment outside the hospital setting.
Our goal is to return the client to his or her regular social environments as soon as possible.
